Special: Film review

Sage’s attempt at a cultural film review has mixed results as Jock Spalding is invited to the studio to discuss Herzog’s Fitzcarraldo and Tarkovsky’s Stalker… then he gets his knob out and things take a turn for the worse.

“Have no fear in the hall, for if you are true, its not possible to fall,
the day will call when you face yourself, the day call when you leave the shelf
have nothing bad to hide they will let you inside,
but life will tear you apart life will rip out your heart,
find it in spirit or it will wash you away
no point in crying no point in tears
cos you will face yourself in the hall of mirrors.
Dont look confused dont look so used
they`ve plans for you yet they kept you a jet so even you can fly to the moon,
dont grab it too soon, dont act the loon goon
cos now you cant hide they left you outside
we can see every side of your soul, you forgot the goal
you sold your soul for a handful of gold,
but the powers that be have been ok to me
and you will face yourself in the hall of mirrors.
Like the Bible pusher saving my soul
like the prima donna screwing the role
and the politicaian laying his law
like the false messiah leading the fools
or the corporation killing us all
you just dont get it, NO YOU JUST DONT GET IT.
And you will face yourself in a hall of mirrors.
